Member Information

In order to become a member of the Seniors Driving Centre, an SDC volunteer will arrange to visit your home for an assessment. If you are found eligible, you may purchase a membership and driving tickets. An SDC membership is $15.00 per year and each volunteer driving ticket is $7.00.

After you have purchased your SDC membership and have volunteer driving tickets, please call the SDC office (732 - 1221) at least three days notice before you need a ride. Please note that calls on Saturday/Sunday are considered as received on Monday. We can and do take ride requests months in advance.

After you have called the SDC office, we will call a volunteer driver, who will then contact you to confirm all the details of your trip. Please ensure that you notify both the SDC office and volunteer about any special information (ie: require assistance with groceries, have a walker, etc).

Please remember that our SDC volunteer drivers cannot under any circumstances book rides, accept cash, or purchase driving tickets for you. Also please note that all parking costs are the responsibility of the member, not the volunteer driver.
